shrill fights over six marbles,
seven stones, three wickets.
until one day
the street empties in a flurry
of suitcases on vacation.
Not seventeen syllables, many more. Haikus need an elegance of thought – I don’t quite have that yet!
it really pleases me to dig out these old posts if yours and read them!
and it is really gratifying that someone bothers to dig around and read them!
